In a recent town hall, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) attributed higher coronavirus cases among Hispanics in his state to “less consistent adherence to social distancing and wearing a mask” within that community. Could this claim be true? An examination of Democracy Fund + UCLA Nationscape weekly survey data on pandemic precautions reveals a very different situation.
